The signing of ISIKUKI PUNIVALU & ASSOCIATES (IPA) as a Games Sponsor was a milestone in the Sponsorship campaign. This was the first family owned firm in Samoa to raise their hand in support of the Games. SAMOA SHIPPING CORPORATION
As a 'Official Supplier' Samoa Shipping Corporation Ltd. is providing sponsorship of the 2007 South Pacific Games valued at $500,000 WST. This significant contribution has some unique benefits.
The SSC vessels will act as mobile billboards that will give the Games and its major sponsors great visibility and coverage. Brand new plasma TV entertainment units will be installed to broadcast selected SPG promotional material and profiled athletes and sports.
Hon Faumuina Luiga Tiatia noted that all SSC vessels are 'smoke free zones', which complements the theme of SPG 2007 as the 'Smoke Free' Games. SPGA are excited to have SSC on board and part of the successful delivery of the Games.
