Ticketing
Tickets for the 2007 South Pacific Games will go on sale next week, and there is a fantastic range of options available to cater for all needs.
For a start, Golf, Va’a, Sailing, Hockey, Triathlon, and Surfing are all open free of charge to the public. With these sports providing an extremely high level of international competition, the opportunity for unlimited viewing is too good to miss!
Standard tickets for the Opening and Closing ceremonies will be $5. Tickets for the North and South stands are priced at $10, the Side stands will be $20, and the Middle stands will cost $30.
General admission to all sports is free for under 5 year olds, and $5 for all others.
Rugby 7’s also offers fans a wide choice. Day one of competition will offer Middle stand tickets for $10. On day two, no free entry will be offered for infants in the grandstands. North and South stands tickets are $10, Side stands, $20, and Middle stands $30.
Anyone purchasing 10 tickets in any category, will also get a bonus ticket for free.
For those dedicated sports fans who really want to indulge their passion, the Games authority is offering some fantastic Gold Tickets. These tickets include food and drink all day, and are priced as follows:
Apia Park Stadium (all sports) – 2 weeks $300
Apia Park Gym – 2 weeks $250
Netball Gym – 7 days $180
Baseball – 9 days $200
Gym 1 – 2 weeks $250
Gym 2 – 2 weeks $250
Gym 3 – 2 weeks $250
Sports Centre – 2 weeks $250
Bowling & Beach Volley Ball – 9 days $200
Soccer – 8 days $190
Marist (Rugby League) – 2 days $60
Samoa aquatic Centre – 7 days $200
Tennis – 2 weeks $250
Tickets can be purchase from ANZ, Beach Road and other locations throughout Upolu and Savaii. Watch this site for more details to be released later in the week.
